Chronic Care such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes, or hypertension, and diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis (MS) makes up a significant part of challenges with which the older population has to cope. A Plan of Care is developed with each and every client, and in these instances when chronic care is needed, we emphasize the medical needs aspect of the care. From administering medications, being aware of the management of these diseases, to knowing who to contract in care of specialized clinical need, our caregivers are trained to handle these situations comfortably and professionally. Even Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, and grooming are handled with the highest level of attention, and our caregivers strive to make your days as normal as possible, in spite of these medical issues.
